Welcome to Bridge the Gap

Scuba Diving with Northampton Sub Aqua clubWhat makes disabled people so different? Nothing! They have the same dreams and ambitions, the same talents and the same abilities as everyone else. They also have a largely untapped spending power, plenty of time and a great deal of experience. Can you afford to ignore them?

Bridge the Gap exists to ensure that disabled people and their families are never ignored. The aim is to narrow the divide that exists between able-bodied people and people with disabilities by helping everyone to develop mutual understanding and respect, thus giving them the same opportunities for work, rest and play.

Working with businesses, public bodies and individuals Bridge the Gap promotes full inclusion through workshops, seminars, personal development and special projects. The company helps able-bodied people from all walks of life to develop their understanding and further their knowledge of disability and discover the benefits of mutual co-operation and interaction. At the same time, Bridge the Gap works with disabled people, through personal development, group activities and training to achieve their full potential by developing hidden talents and overcoming physical or emotional obstacles.

Ignorance is no excuse. Bridge the Gap will help you to reap the full benefits of working closely with disabled people and their relatives.

Attitudes are changing. So is the law. Disability is treated very differently today than it was even five years ago.

Inclusion is the key word and every business, organisation and social club must find ways of integrating disabled people into their society. Disabled people have a notable spending power and they and their families will choose to spend money with companies who make them feel welcome.
